Kids Art Classes – 2024

Kids Art Classes, Term 2, 2024 – Limited places available in both classes.

Art classes for Primary aged children, aged 6-12 years held Wednesdays and Fridays.

Class description:

Students will learn a range of art techniques and explore differing styles through drawing, painting, collage, and construction/clay activities. Weekly projects will provide opportunities for children to learn about art history and experiment with various materials such as watercolour, acrylics, pencils, pastels, air drying clay and more.

Projects will be based on art elements and art principles and students will learn to mix colours, create interesting compositions, and build observational and imaginative drawing skills. Through a series of fun and exciting activities, students will learn to express their creativity and imagination in a nurturing environment with artist Katrina Fisher.

Class schedule:

8 weeks of group classes held each term.

Classes held Wednesdays and Fridays from 4.00 pm – 5.00 pm.

Location:

The Art Studio – Eastern Hub Geelong – 285A McKillop St, East Geelong.

Cost for the term: 

$350 per child, with all materials supplied. (sibling discount available).
