Teens Art Classes – 2024

Teens Art Classes Term 4, 2024.

Art classes for teens, secondary school aged children from 12-16 years held at my new studio – Kids Art Room Geelong – www.kidsartroomgeelong.com.au

Class description:

Students will learn foundational skills in drawing and painting through a series of structured exercises and the development of their own projects and artwork. Each child’s natural ability and creative interests will be developed in a nurturing environment where students will be mentored one-on-one by artist Katrina Fisher.

Students will:

• Work with a range of drawing materials, watercolour / acrylic paints, and other media.
• Strengthen their understanding of composition, colour theory, design etc and apply these principles to their own work.
• Expand their knowledge of historical and contemporary art/artists.
• Develop their own personal artistic style, whilst working on their own projects.
• Develop a portfolio of unique artworks.

Class schedule:

8 weeks of group classes held each term.

Thursdays – 4.15 pm – 5.30 pm

Location:

Kids Art Room – 6 Breakwater Rd Thomson 3219 (East Geelong).

Cost for the term: 

$350 per child, with all materials supplied. (sibling discount available).
